The Estate

The Estate

Nestled on a hillside at an altitude of 150 meters, our estate offers a commanding view over the Cèze Valley, stretching all the way to Mont Ventoux. At the heart of the estate, the traditional stone farmhouse reflects Provençal charm and tradition. Established over 55 years ago, the estate was acquired in 2024 by the Voisin family. Originally named Domaine de Graillefiot, after the locality on which the farmhouse was built, we decided to rename it Mas des Terrasses in homage to the estate's topography.

It was Jean-Marc who passed on his passion for wine to the whole family. With his wife Patricia, they are dedicated to promoting wine and the winemaking profession, while bringing a fresh perspective to the vineyard. After 30 years in brokerage and insurance, Jean-Marc decided to take the plunge and fulfill a long-held dream: to take over a vineyard and launch his own wine range. A self-taught winemaker, he learned on the job and discovered the richness and complexity of the craft!

He is assisted in his work by Manon, who has been in charge of the vineyard for a year, his wife Patricia, and their family, who happily participate in pruning, harvesting, and other vineyard tasks. Convinced of the richness of our terroir, our family is committed to continuing our organic farming practices and implementing methods that respect the environment and our soil.

The Vineyard

Our vineyard covers just over 7 hectares and is mainly planted with the emblematic grape varieties of the Côtes-du-Rhône appellation: Grenache Noir and Syrah. Our vines thrive on around fifty plots organized into two zones:
- To the west, a terraced (or hillside) layout corresponding to the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages PDO.
- To the east, hilly plots under the Côtes-du-Rhône appellation.

The vineyard soils are composed mainly of sandstone and sand, with some areas of greater clay. This diversity encourages us to work with each individual plot to reveal all the nuances of our terroir and its soil.

Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers, our grapes ripen in optimal conditions, giving rise to wines full of character. The mistral wind, sometimes blowing at over 60 km/h, also contributes to the proper ripening of the grapes and the concentration of aromas in the berries, resulting in expressive and balanced wines.

Thanks to these favorable climatic conditions, the entire estate has been managed using organic farming methods (European Ecocert certification) for over twenty years, in order to allow the richness of our terroir to express itself naturally.
